What you will do:
• Assist with implementing and supporting new and existing technologies in production
• Maintain high levels of customer service by responding to business partners’ calls, emails, and instant messages
• Interact directly with business partners to identify, research, document, design solutions, and resolve issues
• Learn and contribute to understanding technical functionality, usability, design, security, and operation of supported systems
• Research complex solutions independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Develop applications in a hybrid-Agile environment
• Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and business objectives to technical teams across the organization
• Train and educate users and initiate preventative technical measures when appropriate
What you need to be successful:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in technology, science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Relevant internship or experience in IT customer service, IT support, or IT troubleshooting roles
• Strong technical and engineering mindset with a focus on root cause analysis and problem ownership
• Interest or experience in application development with Microsoft Power Suite, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Salesforce, or other platforms
• Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, communication, and time management skills
• Desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow, including collaborating with both IT and non-IT partners
• Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred
