Responsibilities
Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is looking for a Family Medicine Physician for our New Salem primary care clinic in Murfreesboro, Tn.
About Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital
• With 407 beds, this regional referral center features a modern facility built in 2010 and a newly-renovated 16 operating room suite
• The hospital is centrally located in the fastest growing county in the state of Tennessee on a beautiful 68-acre campus on the bustling “Medical Center Parkway” corridor with convenient access to dining and shopping areas.
• The hospital campus is currently undergoing a $110 expansion project, which includes the addition of 36 new high acuity beds, a parking garage dedicated to hospital employees and physicians, 18 new critical care unit beds, six additional NICU bassinets, 17 new post-surgery bays.
• The hospital is well known in the community for its women’s services and well-established heart surgery program.
• Saint Thomas Health and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.
Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
