Responsibilities
Identify business processes, and roles within those processes, and develop workflow diagrams and use cases. Collaborate with internal and third-party developers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish technical and functional vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.Provide guidance to the development team during the development stage to meet the client's business needs.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop traceability documents, test plans and test cases.
Work with end users to design and execute user acceptance test scenarios and scripts.
Analyze change requests related to projects and recommend solutions focused on balancing business needs with project scope and timelines.
Participate in ongoing efforts to improve product-related processes.
Perform Any Other Related Duties As Required Or Assigned.
• BA/BS in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree preferred
• 3 - 6 years of experience in a business analysis or related role
• 3 - 6 years of experience in software, SaaS or technical services industry in a related role
• Detail oriented, who is familiar with business requirements analysis using IIBA/PMI standards
• Ability to work independently with users to define concepts and support all phases of requirements validation for projects
• Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Proven interpersonal, presentation skills, written and verbal communication skills in English
• Fast learner, with ability to work with technical and non-technical customers and other stakeholders to generate clear, concise product requirements and stories
• Exceptional at identifying gaps or challenges in product deliverables
• Understanding of XML, APIs and related technologies a plus
• Experience with Windows and SQL technologies a plus
• Experience with point of sale, financial or back-office applications a plus
• Software development or related experience a plus
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework a plus
