We’re looking for an amazing sales professional to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle, WA or Miami, FL office. This is a hybrid, in-office role. You’ll work in person (in office) Tuesday to Thursday each week. You’ll be responsible increasing sales and market share with travel agency and tour operator distribution accounts to meet or exceed established revenue objectives and provide sales support to the Business Development Manager (BDM). This role is dual branded for both Holland America Line and Seabourn.

Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed quarterly/annual net ticket revenue goal:
• Conduct a minimum of 15 outbound calls per day to non-core accounts, prospecting for new and incremental sources of revenue.
• Work with BDM to maintain clear and consistent communication with travel professionals to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify high-potential accounts for consideration as BDM core accounts.
• Prospect for affinity groups opportunities enlisting the BDM for local follow and consumer events.
• Provide sales support to territory and BDMs:
• Provide sales and marketing assistance to agency partners including promotional materials and collateral.
• Work with assigned Business Development Managers (BDM’s) to manage territory and foster agency relationships that are beneficial to the company.
• Initiate daily contact with BDM to ensure territory needs are met and opportunities are addressed
• Expedite and direct booking issues to the proper Guest Programs department avoiding over- involvement by Sales in operational issues.
• Provide travel professionals with promotional materials and collateral as requested.
• Product Knowledge and Training
• Remain up to date on all aspects of Holland America Line and Seabourn products and promotions.
• Conduct a minimum of four monthly virtual trainings for territory non-core partners
• Accurately document all agency interaction in Sales Force.
• Conduct telephone sales blitzes and call-out projects to target specific “high-need” sailing and select groups
Requirements
• Associates Degree, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of sales account management and/or relevant experience
• 3+ years working in call center environment
• Strong knowledge of Holland America Line and Seabourn products
• Telephone sales center experience a plus
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of relationship sales experience, preferably in the travel industry, including a track record of revenue growth
• Good organizational, communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pace environment
• Self-starter, team player and able to work independently
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

• Base Salary Range: $52,100 – 70,400. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
