Full Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking warmhearted, detail-oriented, responsible, well-mannered, ambitious, energetic, English-Chinese (Cantonese-Mandarin) individuals to join our team as as an Intake Coordinator.
• ***** THIS IS NOT A SUMMER JOB/ SEMESTER BREAK JOB ******
Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour paid lunch break.
Duties:
• Ensure new hires and existing paraprofessional employees (HHA/PCA) are in compliance with DOH regulations, including pre-employment physicals, annual updates, and in-service requirements.
• Process new applicants for employment and procure and authenticate required documents, such as I-9 forms.
• Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist with ensuring all home care aides meet necessary certification and training requirements.
• Handle documentation and tracking for compliance audits and inspections.
• Provide support and guidance to home care aides regarding HR-related inquiries.
Experience:
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of DOH regulations/guidelines relating to HHA/PCA employment requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is required.
• Experience with computer systems and HHA management software is preferred.
