You will be supporting on site commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of HV/MV electrical substations apparatus & LV AC/DC systems.
Responsible for all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property.
This is a field operations role which requires frequent travel to domestic and international locations.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities
• Responsible for performing on site commissioning, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and troubleshooting of HV/MV electrical substations apparatus
• Perform Testing, Commissioning, and maintenance of LV AC/DC systems (distribution panels, Batteries, battery charger, Inverter…)
• Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering
• Manage and help Worker’s customer and/or switch on the site (LOTO)
• Prepare progress reports, test results, non-compliance report
• Annotating and editing drawings 'as built'
• Participate in the drafting of technical procedures
• Submit to external customers and internal technical documentation necessary for operation and maintenance of equipment. Provide information supplements as needed
• Responsible for EHS site team compliance
• Technical assistance to our sales specialist during customer visits
• Double testing set as M4 and TDR
• Omicron testing set as CT analyzer
• Dilo gas recovery

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Technical degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Electrical Substation or HV/MV apparatus or electrical engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of field experience in Electrical Substation
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
• Have legal authorization to work in Canada and be aware that any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a pre-employment verification.

• Advanced knowledge of electrical and electronic testing equipment
• Fluency in English (mandatory) and French will be a plus
• Knowledge of office software (MS Office Suite)
