Catering Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services and ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverages to our customers. This role is responsible for supporting the success of our events and catering operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent hospitality skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm with flexible schedule

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages for events and catering functions.
- Provide exceptional guest services and ensure that all customers have a positive experience.
- Assist with setup, serving, and breakdown of events and catering functions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Ensure all food and beverages are prepared according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery and service of food and beverages to events and catering functions. Drive company Box Truck with the merchandise to the events.
- Provide support to the catering team as needed, including bussing tables and restocking supplies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Stay up to date on all catering and event details to ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and catering options.

Skills:

- Proven experience in the food industry, with a focus on catering and hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Excellent guest services and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in bartending and food preparation.
- Experience with banquets and catering operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to help with setup, serving, and breakdown of events and catering functions.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and equipment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the success of our events and catering operations.

-Must have Valid Driver's License

-Must have Box Truck experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
• Skokie, IL: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
