Description

The Finance Manager will oversee the Collections Department. The Finance Manager needs strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is critical in understanding financial impacts to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and manages the Collections Department’s assignments and priorities.
• Performs weekly analysis of current collections (current, past due) and reports out to management on status.
• Consistently evaluate current process and procedures; recommend improvements.
• Performs monthly financial analysis of business operations.
• Prepares corporate financial statements in a timely fashion.
• In partnership with the CFO, create annual budgets for the business.
• Provides relevant financial information to executive management team.
• In partnership with the Controller, responsible for monthly financial close process.
• Performs other related duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience; OR a relevant Master’s degree with five years of experience.
• Ability to create and manage corporate budgets.
• Excellent managerial skills.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, strong IT focus.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Work Authorization:

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory results of a thorough background check and drug screen. Successful results of a background check are at the sole discretion of AGP.
