Job Description

Camden's Promise Charter School is currently seeking a full-time Teacher of Math. The teacher’s primary function is to provide Math instruction to students, in an effort to promote growth in self-expression. This includes planning and creating learning opportunities for children which address IEP goals and objectives, and teach on an appropriate level. This includes motivating children with positive reinforcement and using the school-wide behavior modification program in the classroom, monitoring progress daily, maintaining daily notes for reference, corresponding with parents by notebook, providing guidance and direction to teacher assistants, collaborating with staff as needed, developing materials to accommodate individual differences, completing progress reports and writing and developing present levels of educational performance and new goals and objectives for annual reviews.

To apply, applicants will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• NJ Dept. of Education teacher certification as a Teacher of Math required

Experience working with special needs students a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 to 80,000 /year
