Our work depends on Business Process Analyst joining our team to support projects across multiple offices within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The desired candidate has strong analytical skills, the ability to work across multiple projects, and an enthusiasm for protecting human health and the environment. This position is expected to be a 100% remote position with some travel, although preference is given to candidates in the Washington, DC area.
HOW A BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems. Coordinates with business and technology teams.
● Join GDIT teams providing support the the EPA Information Technology/Information Management Policies program and a team providing administrative review support of applications for EPA grant programs..
● Assist with conducting program and process evaluations.
● Develop communications such as email newsletters and PowerPoint presentations for a variety of audiences.
● Analyze documents, conduct research, and synthesize findings.
● Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's Degree at a minimum
● Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain an EPA access badge and network access, requiring a Public Trust clearance and successful completion of a National Agency Check and Inquiry (NACI) background investigation.
● Preferred Skills: Strong familiarity with MS Teams, MS Project, SharePoint and project management tracking tools such as Teams Planner is preferred.
● Familiarity with EPA programs and mission is highly desired.
● Location: Remote, although some travel may be needed to EPA offices in Washington and preference is given to candidates in the Washington, DC area.
