We are assisting a leading organization in the financial sector, focusing on investment management and digital transformation initiatives. This organization is on the lookout for a talented Data Engineer to join their team. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in the digital data transformation journey, leveraging data analysis technologies to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
Job Description:
• Assist the implementation of a cutting-edge Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform and Data Warehouse, constructing these systems from the ground up.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, seamless data integration, and effective data visualization.
• Collaborate with internal business units, data team colleagues, and external consultants to troubleshoot and resolve data-related challenges.
• Assist the operation and management of data initiatives, including data governance, operations, and analytics.
Job Requirements:
• A university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Data Management, or a related field.
• 2-5 years experience in data management or engineering, preferably within financial or investment sectors
• Proficiency in ETL, SQL, Python, and AI/Machine Learning technologies, along with advanced analytics, SSIS, and UIpath/Blueprism is an advantage
• Familiarity with investment data management or financial data management systems
• Demonstrated ability in developing data management solutions, including EDM/MDM, Data Warehouse, and ETL/data integration
• Prior experience with AI/ML models and data virtualization is highly advantageous
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
