Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to work closely with the Corporate Risk Governance organization to help build and support an enterprise Financial Crimes Transaction Monitoring and Investigations platform that can adapt to changes quickly for monitoring financial Crimes. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, production support and monitoring of new applications to replace an existing case management application, as well as help build the next generation investigations platform to support Financial Crimes Transaction Monitoring and Investigations. This individual will participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications. This individual will lead developers and business partners to understand application defects, performance problems and data anomalies in addition to driving requirements and design discussions.
In this role, you will:
• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2+ years of experience in core development using programming languages like Java, Python, and C++
• 2+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
• 2+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
Desired Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with front end development including Angular4 years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
• 3 years of experience leading technical development teams
• 2 years of risk and regulatory compliance experience
• 2+ years of Oracle Mantas, AML implementation experience
• 2+ years of NICE Actimize ActOne/RCM implementation experience.
• Prior experience working within onshore/offshore development teams
Job Expectations
• This is a hybrid work environment. Candidates are required to work in the office three (3) days per week at the specified location

• Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$133,300.00 - $237,100.00
