Position Summary: As the Director of Education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic environment, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving the success of our educational programs. Job Description:
• Academic Program Oversight:
• Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of academic programs at the campus.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure lesson plans align with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Faculty Leadership and Development:
• Provide leadership and guidance to faculty members, fostering a positive and collaborative teaching environment.
• Conduct regular faculty evaluations, set performance expectations, and identify opportunities for professional development.
• Student Success and Support:
• Implement strategies to enhance student success, retention, and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with student services to address academic concerns, provide support services, and facilitate a positive learning experience.
• Accreditation and Compliance:
• Ensure academic compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to address and resolve accreditation-related issues.
• Strategic Planning:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of campus-level strategic plans, aligning with the overall goals of Unitech Training Academy.
• Identify opportunities for program expansion, improvement, and innovation.
• Campus-Level Communication:
• Foster effective communication channels between faculty, staff, and administration.
• Serve as a liaison between the campus and the home office, providing regular updates on academic performance and campus initiatives.
• Technology Integration:
• Stay abreast of educational technology trends and advocate for the integration of technology tools that enhance teaching and learning.
• Work with the IT department to implement and support technological advancements in classrooms and online learning environments.
• Quality Assurance:
• Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and improve the effectiveness of educational programs.
• Conduct regular assessments of faculty performance, curriculum relevance, and student outcomes.
• Facilitate Professional Development:
• Implement a robust professional development program for faculty, focusing on enhancing teaching effectiveness, staying updated on industry advancements, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Encourage faculty participation in conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay abreast of best practices.
• Student Engagement and Advocacy:
• Advocate for students' academic success and well-being, fostering a campus culture that prioritizes student engagement and satisfaction.
• Establish mechanisms for student feedback and incorporate student perspectives into decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field preferred (relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in a vocational or technical education setting.
· Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to oversee faculty and academic programs
· In-depth knowledge of accreditation standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in education.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and foster a positive learning environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
