Responsibilities
Provide specialized online instruction tailored to students with exceptional needs.
Develop and implement virtual Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
Adapt curriculum and create accessible digital learning materials to meet diverse learning needs.
Conduct online assessments and monitor student progress to ensure effective learning.
Collaborate with families and school staff to support and enhance student success.
Facilitate virtual IEP meetings and parent conferences to discuss student progress and needs.
Stay informed about special education laws and best practices in online teaching.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Special Education.
Valid teaching license with an endorsement in exceptional children's education.
At least 3 years of experience in special education.
Proficiency in using digital learning tools and assistive technology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to create engaging and interactive online learning experiences.
Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
