Job Summary:
We are seeking a General Medicine Registrar to join our team at a reputable teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background and be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities:
- Admit, assess, and manage patients under the supervision of attending physicians
- Perform medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization, spinal taps, and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using ICD-9 coding standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care procedures
