About the Role :
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Consumer Products, you will lead a talented team of product managers and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategies to accelerate subscription growth and maximize customer value.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing enhancements to the end-to-end subscription journey including acquisition, retention, and business enablement (i.
e. marketing technology) for both individual and corporate subscriptions across the Dow Jones consumer brands.
You Will :
• Product Development : Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring that new features and enhancements align with business objectives and customer needs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and editorial teams to prioritize and execute product initiatives that drive subscription growth.
• Customer Experience : Champion the customer experience by advocating for user-centric design principles and ensuring that product improvements enhance overall customer satisfaction and retention.
• Team Development : Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Market Analysis : Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product roadmap decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
• Strategic Leadership : Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for driving subscription growth through product innovation and optimization in close partnership with CMO Department.
You Have :
• Proven track record of success in product management or related roles, with at least 15+ years of product management experience with 7+ years in subscription-based businesses.
• Experience working across platforms and formats such as web, iOS and Android and text, audio and video; understanding of machine learning a bonus.
• Strong leadership skills with experience leading and developing high-performing product teams.
• Deep understanding of product management best practices, including Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams from marketing, design, engineering and more
