We at Raise are hiring a C++ Developers for one of our top clients in the industry leading firm. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

The opportunity

We are looking for C++ developers to help design, implement, and manage applications on an end-client engagement. The project would be until end of year, 4 months contract, the work arrangement would be 5 days a week on-site at the client office in Downtown Toronto.

What You Will Do
• Develop and design end-to-end solutions.
• Write high-quality, high-performance and maintainable code.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle and support testing and deployment of new products and features.
• Implement best practices across the team and participate in code reviews.
• Write and execute unit tests for your code as a practice.
• Participate in the research and evaluation of new tools and technologies that can help drive innovative solutions for our clients.
• Collaborate with Solution Specialists, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers in drafting the functional specifications required during the software development life cycle.

Your Qualifications
• 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in C++ with proficiency in object-oriented design principles
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience
