Key Qualifications
• A deep understanding of metadata and how it affects the user experience. Experience building systems to process and use data more efficiently with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to see a problem, decide on a solution, and figure out best course of action to turn that solution into a reality. An ability to communicate with partners at all levels of the organization. Experience in data and project management, with an understanding of data mapping. Do you love creating and presenting engaging and effective presentations? Knowledge of all major Classical composers, performing artists and ensembles, as well as lesser known and/or emerging artists and composers. Working knowledge of English, French, German, Italian, and Latin. Extreme attention to detail.

Description
We are seeking a Classical Music Curator to support Apple Music. This role will be responsible for ensuring our Classical music metadata is accurate and complete, and will also manage projects to use that data to support new initiatives to improve the Classical experience on Apple Music & iTunes. The ideal candidate for this position will be incredibly detail-oriented, have the ability to understand the way data flows through systems, and how that data can best be used to improve the user experience of our products. This position will work with the metadata and engineering teams to champion projects that are important to the Classical music experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. 3+ years experience working with music, content metadata, or project management required.
