Join our Oracle Payments Product Development team as a Java/Python Developer! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of engineering cutting-edge solutions, leveraging a variety of technologies to create exceptional product features and enhance our payment offerings.
As a key member of our agile team, you'll have the opportunity to lead development efforts, mentor colleagues, and interact with a global workforce. You’ll be working on high-impact projects, from building APIs to implementing advanced technologies, all while contributing to an inclusive and supportive team culture.
What You'll Do:
• Innovate with Java & Python: Design, code, and debug applications using Java, J2EE, ADF, and Python. Develop advanced UI components and backend solutions.
• Full Stack Development: Apply your skills across all layers of application development. Advanced UI development using OJET frameworks and/or VBCS is a plus.
• Create Cutting-Edge Solutions: Develop web UIs using JavaScript ES6/Typescript/HTML/CSS/SCSS and related technologies (e.g., jQuery, Angular). Work with REST and server-side technologies (e.g., SWAGGER, OpenAPI).
• Leverage Cloud Technologies: Engage with cloud applications, focusing on scalability, performance, and security. Experience with OCI, cloud-based development environments, and pipeline management is a plus.
• Lead & Mentor: Provide leadership and mentorship within the team. Balance multiple development tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Connect with Strategy, UI/UX, QA, Information Development, and Sales & Support to drive project success and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java, Python, and J2EE. Experience with OJET frameworks, ADF, and related technologies (e.g., Helidon/Spring Boot, jQuery, Node.js) is desirable.
• Web Development Skills: Strong experience with JavaScript ES6/Typescript, HTML, CSS, and modern client-side technologies. Knowledge of REST and server-side technologies (e.g., SWAGGER, OpenAPI) is essential.
• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud-based applications and technologies, including scalability, performance, and security. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
• Database Skills: Solid understanding of database design/modelling, RDBMS concepts, SQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle/MongoDB).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, debug technical problems, and balance multiple tasks effectively.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset. Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and languages, with a strong track record of managing varied and complex tasks independently.
