We are looking for candidates to build a new generation of web-based SaaS tools. You will work directly with Life Sciences clients to structure problems and build new tools to solve those problems alongside our tight-knit group of developers, data scientists, and product managers. A blend of people skills, coding knowledge, and a rigorous understanding of statistical analysis and modeling are considered essential for the job.

We are focused on building best-in-class solutions that are elegant, real-time, and data-focused. As such, this role will require you to develop, pilot, and deploy new products that meet the needs of our customers and the life sciences industry. You will work directly with individuals with 10+ years of experience in the industry, and report to the Software Lead for delivering those products.

Candidates interested in joining IQVIA as a Full Stack Software Engineer must have:
• Up to 4 years of experience in full stack web application development
• Experience in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, C#, .Net, Java, or C / C++)
• Knowledge of SQL or no-SQL databases (or be willing to learn)
• Direct experience in building tools or models that help customers make better decisions using data and structured methodologies
• Strong analytical abilities. You enjoy absorbing large amounts of data, learning new programming languages, or building quantitative insights based on an understanding of complex systems
• Intellectual curiosity, discipline and attention for structure and details
• Interest in life sciences / healthcare
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

This is a full-time, on-site position located in our New York, NY office.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $89,300.00 - $163,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
