About the Role
As a Business Operations Program Manager, your role involves driving innovation, streamlining processes, and implementing scalable mechanisms to enhance efficiency and productivity across the Heroku organization.

As we continue to evolve and expand our offerings, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced program manager to drive programs and projects to success.
Responsibilities
• Orchestrate and oversee complex initiatives that contribute to our continued growth and success
• Manage the goal setting and quarterly reviews for our V2MOM process (internal Salesforce yearly goal process) for Heroku
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, customer support, and sales, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programs for strategic initiatives
• Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to stay on track
• Drive transformational projects. Serve as the connective tissue with Salesforce key transformational projects.
• Develop global standards and methodologies for consistent approaches to key business processes across GTM and Product
• Manage projects for GTM including pricing & packaging, G4G, and operationalizing professional services
Required Skills
• 7+ years project and program management experience, including experience with agile methodologies and program management tools; previous consulting/advisory experience a plus
• Experience in process improvement and change management
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving requirements in an agile environment
• Demonstrated history of delivering successful programs that result in measurable business value
• A significant understanding of the Salesforce platform in order to influence strategic and value discussions at a management level
• Pragmatic problem solver, with a bias to action and "getting things done". Passionate about driving business outcomes and change at the ground level
• Experience in successful growth implementations, from development to launch, revenue-producing programs and go-to-market strategies
• Builds trusted partnerships and works cross-functionally to share information and resources, problem-solving, and produce better outcomes
• Build and deliver presentations to management, C-Level Executives, and sales executives
• Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
• Synthesize data and create programs to address gaps in the business, bringing in cross-functional teams as needed
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to identify risks and can run several complex projects with multiple moving parts
