Job Summary
We are a New York State Licensed Homecare Agency seeking detail-oriented Payroll Coordinators to join our team. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
Duties
- Process duty sheets and Electronic Visit Verifications records
- Perform data entry to input employee information, hours worked, and deductions
- Reconcile and verify payroll data including debits, credits, and taxes
- Assist with technical accounting tasks related to payroll
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Follow up with Service Authorization with the Managed Long-Term Care Plans
- Communicate with caregivers about their actual hours worked if the records contradict with authorized Hours.
Experience
- Proven experience working in payroll processing
- Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP or QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Previous experience with Payroll calculations and Bookkeeping is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

• Associate (Preferred)
