Digital Commerce Sales Analyst
Newark, NJ
The Digital Commerce Sales Analyst supports the Digital Commerce US team to deliver actions driving customer strategy through more efficient delivery of standardized data analysis and reporting vs. defined measures & metrics.
This role is responsible for effectively delivering insightful, actionable and timely analysis and reporting in support of digital marketing, sales, commercial and key category initiatives across Bricks & Clicks & the wider sub-channels within such as Large Format, Grocery, Club & Small Format.
The role will work closely too with the Amazon Customer Analyst & Global Analytics Teams to ensure best practice sharing & efficiency & effectiveness in tools & process to accelerate our data analytic capabilities.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years’ experience with insights, analytics, and/or ecommerce
• Project management experience in managing multiple projects and evaluating success
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Proven track record managing sales & delivering results
• Ability to manage time effectively, setting and meeting deadlines while maintaining quality of work
• Self-motivator with a collaborative spirit
What would be your key responsibilities?
• Deep data analysis to provide insights and recommendations based on retailer data (e.g. Nielsen, Retailer owned, 1010data etc).
• Lead financial planning processes for the team like multi-year forecasting and annual plan rollup and development
• Analytics driven data mining, analyzing performance of our multi brand portfolio across several retailers, and defining top performing SKU’s among them.
• Develop and manage an analytic dashboard for MW.
• Play lead role with Global & Digital Technology Teams to accelerate building tools & capabilities to drive reporting from historical to predictive analytics
• Deliver and maintain a periodic sales tracker (Category, Market & Customer)
• Create and share relevant reports & insights with the ecommerce community
• Initiate and guide web analytics to drive short and long term strategies to grow online revenue and profitability
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop data analytics and insights to drive sales conversion online (Digital Merchandising strategy)
