Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer III to join their dynamic Data Integration team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL/ELT design and implementation, data integration, and data warehousing. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed, transformed, and integrated across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• ETL/ELT Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse and other systems.
• Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data across multiple systems and platforms, including on-premises and cloud environments.
• Data Quality & Governance: Implement data quality checks and validation routines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of data flows, ETL/ELT processes, and integration solutions.
Qualifications:
• Prefer 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years relatable work experience
• Strong SQL coding and ETL/ELT design skills required.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality best practices.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
