Job Description:
Primary Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient clinic in Van Nuys. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality care and improving the overall health of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care services to patients, including preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Manage and coordinate patient care, including ordering tests, prescribing medications, and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall development of the clinic.
Qualifications:
• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Valid California medical license and board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in an outpatient primary care setting is preferred but not required.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred due to the patient demographic served.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Compassionate Care: Strong commitment to patient-centered care and improving community health.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
