JOB SUMMARY
As a Consultant in Aspirant’s Organization Effectiveness practice, you will serve as a trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of business-related engagements. You will have the opportunity to be a hands-on leader, gathering and analyzing data, exploring innovative solutions, making actionable recommendations, and communicating with key stakeholders. Your enthusiasm and creativity in finding solutions will help our clients achieve their human capital goals.
In this role you will lead and advise client engagements that focus on organizational design as well as change management strategies, organizational changes to roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships, training and communications, leadership development, and facilitating client meetings and conversations. This role provides an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills, work across a variety of industries, and exercise your entrepreneurial spirit to deliver superior results for our clients.
Responsibilities
• Participate directly in client engagements, providing expert insights and ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish. Engagements include developing change management approaches and strategies; designing and implementing organizational changes to roles, responsibilities, or reporting relationships; leadership development; and HR Excellence initiatives.
• Lead and facilitate client workshops and project meetings, while providing a unique point of view from an OE
• Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations.
• Apply expertise by monitoring and identifying project issues, mitigating risk, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of work.
• Present findings both internally at Aspirant and externally to clients that include data acquisition and insights.
• Lead well-developed workstreams and small projects with confidence, deliver structure where there is ambiguity, resolve stakeholder resistance and risks, and implement the desired outcomes.
• Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends, technologies, and approaches) within the area of Organizational Effectiveness.
• Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and develop new business engagement opportunities.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in a variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness/Design.
• Master’s/MBA preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Prior work experience from a variety of business projects such as organizational design, business integration, organizational change, marketing, new product launches, mergers & acquisitions, or system integrations.
• Experience from a variety of business projects such as OE, OD, talent management, business process, digital marketing, sales, or technology.
• Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, HR, marketing, and sales.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Expertise in multiple project management tools.
• Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations and synthesize a path forward.
• Passion for identifying problems and the desire to work closely with clients in designing and implementing solutions.
• Leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional
• Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly with both line and senior management level clients.
• Ability to travel based on client requirements.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• 1 or more years relevant business consulting experience with subject matter expertise in organizational design. Other areas to include organizational effectiveness, change management, or performance metrics.
• Consulting experience should include leading projects, owning deliverables, and implementing creative solutions.
• Experience in HR, learning and development, or people analytics.
• Flexibility and confidence to contribute to any of Aspirant’s other Aspirant practice areas including Strategy & Transformation, Digital & Technology
