The Position The Episcopal Academy seeks an experienced and dynamic part-time choral music teacher with strong keyboard skills. Responsibilities include teaching choral classes in the 6th through 8th grade, leading the chapel service music, and being the music director for the Middle School Fall Musical. Knowledge of proper vocal technique and understanding of the changing voice is essential. This person will also regularly support the EA Music Department by helping with communication and sharing to families, students and faculty about our music programs, performances and opportunities. Experience with music theatre, music technology, handbells, and guitar is also a plus. The music department works in collaboration with the theater, dance, and visual art departments to provide a rich array of experiences in the arts designed to cultivate expression, creativity, knowledge, skill, and understanding.
