What You'll Do

Docusign is looking for a Lead Content Strategist, Product-Led Growth for developing and executing a comprehensive web marketing strategy to create, engage and ultimately convert traffic on docusign.com and associated market-specific international websites. Reporting to the Director of Product, Product-Led Growth, you will play a critical role in shaping prospective consumers' first encounter with Docusign, and ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and partners across the organization including Product Marketing (eSignature, IAM, CLM and other core products), Creative, Brand, Performance Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Legal.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product.

Responsibility
• Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our business
• Understand Docusign’s current target audiences and help define future growth audiences and champion their needs and purchase barriers when visiting docusign.com
• Understand Docusign’s brand and web guidelines to produce copy and content that reflects our brand tone of voice and positioning in the market
• Test and optimize content and product positioning across marketing pages, ecommerce pages and in-product experiences to drive the highest conversions and engagement
• Ability to drive strategy and recommendations for markets with different levels of maturity
• Leverage analytics tools, such as Google Analytics/Mixpanel, Tableau, to identify important insights, create success metrics, analyze performance, and make data-driven recommendations on opportunities to improve the customer experience
• Manage and update regularly a large volume of webpages, eCommerce content SKUs and interface with product managers of those experiences to best reflect the digital product ecosystem and offerings
• Manage the content governance model as well as the editorial and publishing calendar for a portion of the website to ensure content is up to date, relevant, and of value to target audiences
• Analyze content performance and identify CMS design and functionality upgrades to support higher engagement / conversion
• Conduct ongoing site audits across the end-to-end user journey to ensure content accuracy, quality, and functional performance
• Work with SEO resources to develop and implement SEO strategy that positively impacts traffic, engagement, lead generation, and other established website KPIs
• Review site content for ADA compliance and support efforts to ensure accessibility
• Coordinate the alignment with our global web operations team for content localization

Job Designation

Hybrid:

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What You Bring

Basic
• Minimum of 12 years in Web and Digital Marketing
• Experience with reporting suites such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Tableau, etc
• Experience website coding specifically with how to write, interpret and edit HTML

Preferred
• Proficient in understanding web journeys and experience leveraging the data and insights to inform future web design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to craft high quality presentations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Expertise using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement and best practice for other SEO content
• Experience with products that have an international footprint
• Ability to lead and own projects with minimal supervision
• Understand the benefits of how to leverage a headless content management system (Contentful experience)

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
