The Performance Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
• Relevant credential plus a minimum of 2 years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
• No credential but a minimum of 10 years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.
Special Credential Needed (Certification or License):
• Preferable: Certifications in AI/ML from recognized institutions (e.g., Google AI, IBM Watson, Coursera, edX).
Specific Qualifications Needed
Educational Background:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Advanced coursework or specializations in AI and Machine Learning.
Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML roles. AI/ML Engineer; Data Scientist, Machine Learning Specialist, AI Consultant)
• Experience in both academic and industry settings is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
• This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $400 Canadian per project
