Job Summary:

Our private equity client has retained CXO Source to place a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy of a growing, highly profitable, private equity-backed, Seattle, WA-based industrial equipment company. The CFO will oversee all financial activities, ensure the company's financial health, and lead merger and acquisition (M&A) initiatives, including integration efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive financial performance and profitability.
• Lead long-term financial planning and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and investor communications.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Oversee the company’s accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and risk management functions.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems.
• Optimize the company’s capital structure and working capital management.
• Serve as the primary financial liaison with private equity partners.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to the CEO, leadership team and investors.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Oversee the integration of acquired companies, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Champion and drive the adoption of newly implemented systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify synergies and optimize post-merger processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure the finance team is aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and an MBA and/or CPA/CMA are strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a significant focus on M&A and post-acquisition integration.
• Proven experience working in a private equity-owned company within the $100M to $300M revenue range.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.
