The Regulations Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with FAA regulations for our drone operations and supporting our customers in meeting regulatory requirements. This role involves completing required documentation, maintaining a comprehensive database of company and customer regulations, and effectively communicating regulatory information to customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and a strong ability to learn and adapt to current and new FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Documentation Management: Complete and manage all required documentation for drone operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAA regulations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed about FAA regulations related to drone operations and ensure the company and its customers comply with these regulations.
• Customer Communication: Communicate with customers and answer frequent questions about the regulatory requirements they need to follow, providing clear and accurate information.
• Database Maintenance: Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of company and customer regulations, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Training and Support: Assist customers in understanding and complying with FAA regulations, providing necessary training and support as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; College degree or additional education preferred. Willing to compete Part 107 exam or any other training courses.
• Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role is required. Experience with FAA regulations is beneficial but not required.
• Skills:
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to learn and understand current and new FAA regulations.
• Ability to search and find information in an adequate and timely manner.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
