Position: Director of Sales | Drones Detection
Role Overview: Play a significant role in advancing the mission of enhancing public safety through innovative drone technology. We are in search of an energetic Director of Sales with a background in law enforcement sales to join our client's expanding team.
This remote position is dedicated to increasing their footprint in the public safety sector by identifying, prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with law enforcement agencies and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will either have a background in law enforcement or possess a deep understanding of law enforcement needs, combined with a passion for promoting cutting-edge DFR solutions.
Position Details
• Salary Range: (OTE) up to $250,000
• Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:
• New Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within law enforcement and public safety departments, understanding their needs and proposing suitable technology solutions.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and challenges to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets, including identifying key decision-makers, analyzing market trends, and positioning the company’s products and services effectively.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 65% of the time.
• Proposal Creation and Presentation: Develop and present customized proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that highlight the value of the DFR technology solutions.
• Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate contract terms and close deals to secure successful and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Keep accurate sales records, generate detailed reports, and provide forecasts to guide strategic decisions and performance tracking.
Desired Competencies:
• Experience: At least 4 years in technology sales within the law enforcement sector, with a solid understanding of public safety procurement processes.
• Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Work Style: Able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative startup environment.
• Background: Experience in law enforcement is highly desirable.
