What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Provide oversight for workers' compensation claims and advocate for clients to ensure optimal outcomes
• Manage the claims process from initial notification to settlement, including coverage verification and addressing claim issues
• Coordinate with clients, risk managers, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient claims processing
• Maintain accurate records and claim information in the EPIC system
• Attend client meetings and contribute to project development, including best practices and training initiatives
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Minimum of 10 years of claims handling and/or oversight experience in Commercial Property & Casualty workers' compensation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to outstanding client service
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Four-year college or university degree preferred
• Experience in developing training materials or best practices for claims advocacy
• Background in data analysis related to claims management
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Experience participating in or leading client claim meetings
