We are looking for an experienced IT Expense Manager to join our team! (ideal location in Austin - hybrid)
This role will help consolidate all contracts and review existing contracts to help reduce complexity and costs by consolidating and renegotiating at a larger discount. You will be responsible for managing license and renewals. This position will be integral in consolidating and reducing IT costs across Ottobock.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provision of decision-relevant data in IT and project management
Provide relevant information to the global CIO and the Director of IT North America
Monitoring of IT billing processes for controlling
Accounting of incoming invoices and postings at the Regional IT cost centers
Provision of detailed information and consultant for invoicing issues IT services for local IT managers and cost center managers
Further development of IT financial management in Regional IT
Preparation and expansion of periodic reports for departmental and Executive Board on IT costs
Evaluation of day-to-day and project business
Creation of the central and local IT budget
Distribution of budget values among departments and Ottobock branches
Coordination with the departments and controlling
Contract controlling and management of the IT contract portfolio as well as targeted documentation
Sourcing IT contracts: procurement; risk management; compliance
Contract management process
IT contract types and contract design: Structural, organizational and legal aspects
Ensuring compliance with compliance requirements in the field of license management
Accompanying of license announcements, self-disclosure and audits
Monitoring of current license agreements and resulting license metrics cross-regional
Sustainable documentation and monitoring of processes as process owners (standard operating procedures, process documentation, global policy) - creation of new processes as needed
Contact persons for licensing issues for the participating departments and foreign subsidiaries
Evaluation of new license requirements (e.g. modification of a license metrics, introduction of a new, licensed product, contractual changes) and translation into concrete measures for the company
Evaluation of compliance reports and derivation of necessary actions (e.g. license orders, conversion of license models, deactivation of devices or software, etc.)
Qualifications
• 3 years’ experience creating and managing budgets over $10 million
• Four-year related degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
• Strong knowledge/experience with contract negotiation
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn in a quick and fast paced environment
• Project management experience a plus
• ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred
Compensation Data
Annual Starting Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
