SQL DBA - Liverpool based - 3 days a week in the office (2 days remote)
This is a new team being built in Liverpool. It has lovely offices, free parking, and is right next to the train station.
This is an ideal role for a 5+ year experienced SQL DBA who wants to grow and evolve within a 4-person SQL DBA team.
Due to the SQL DBA team's move back to the UK, an exciting position has become available for an SQL DBA to join our client’s friendly team in Liverpool.
The successful IT DBA will earn £45,000 – £50,000, plus an on-call allowance and a generous holiday.
You have extensive database management expertise, specialising in large-scale integrated systems, and a proven track record of optimising database performance and HA and ensuring data security in MS SQL environments. Role Requirements
• 4+ years’ experience in an SQL DBA role
• Proficiency in MS SQL and DBA tools, such as MS SQL Server Management
Role Responsibilities:
• Managing the organisation's database systems, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and security protocols
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust and secure MS SQL database infrastructure to support mission-critical applications while optimising database performance
