Position Summary

As a Reservoir Artificial Intelligence Developer Engineer, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement AI-driven solutions for reservoir evaluation and management. Your role will involve leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize reservoir modeling workflows, enhance production processes, and support sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement AI and machine learning models for reservoir simulation and optimization.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, data scientists, and engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.
• Conduct research and development to explore new AI applications in reservoir management.
• Analyze and interpret data to improve reservoir performance and decision-making processes.
• Document and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications
• BS or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML applications.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in reservoir modeling and simulation, with a strong understanding of AI and machine learning techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with managing projects with real reservoirs using AI and/or traditional tools.
• Experience running reservoir simulators such as Eclipse, T-Navigator or similar.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with data analytics, surrogate modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Petrel and other reservoir simulation tools.
• Previous experience in technology development and project management within the oil and gas industry.
