POSITION SUMMARY: A Sales Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day support of the Sales Department, Motel 6/Studio 6 customers and the processes and programs used by them in the course of developing Business to Business sales accounts. Corporate account set up and maintenance Processing account applications through credit and tracking approvals Coordinating with pricing to have rates loaded within GROW Coordinating with IT PMS (Property Management System) team to have rate codes processed in Hotel Key Coordinating with AP (Above Property) to have Vanity CPs set-up Data entry in GM (Goldmine) as requested. Transfer of accounts in GM and CP Sales as requested Provide guest folios as requested Process incoming Sales@6 emails in a timely manner Monitoring Sales@6 phoneline. Returning customer phone calls and inquiries Providing supplies and materials to all field sales reps as needed Work with sales rep and IT to troubleshoot and correct account/reservation issues as needed Special projects as assigned All other duties as needed or required Job Requirements: Accurate data entry into sales systems Communicate effectively with customers, prospective clients, and other Team Members verbally and in writing Follow direction to prioritize the workload and change direction quickly Track activity and prepare reports Research information needed by Account Executives Maintain databases, filing systems and storage areas Pack and ship sales materials and supplies as needed Handle occasional customer complaints Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a dedication to achievement of Sales@6 team goals.
