Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco or Mountain View / Sunnyvale or NYC.
We are looking for a Business Operation Associate to join our LinkedIn Talent Solutions, go-to-Market team in leading our top- and bottom-line impact through objective analysis, operational insights and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate and work closely with cross-functional partners across Sales Operations, Product Marketing, Pricing, and FP&A to drive forward strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver strategic projects for our leadership that provide key business insights
• Deliver strategic projects that enable the business to execute its highest priority initiatives (e.g. building go-to-market strategies for new product launches; developing acceleration plans for new commercial models; etc.)
• Leverage LinkedIn data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business (e.g. customer segments / regions / product lines) and for our various businesses (e.g. hire, learn etc.) to develop deep understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and opportunities
• Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Development, Corporate Development, and other internal groups, etc.), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal
• Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in engineering, math, statistics, physics, computer science, business or related discipline; or relevant work experience
• 2+ years of work experience in a strategy related role with an emphasis on quantitative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company
• Experience with SQL
• Proactive and passionate: You’re independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
• High-energy, team-first attitude: You’re motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
• Highly analytical: You’re analytical, with experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced models.
• Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $78,000 to $126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
