Junior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team, working on critical projects within the Line of Business Transmission & Substation located in Washington, DC!

As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our financial decision-making processes. You’ll assist in the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial data and reports. Your work will involve budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and support strategic initiatives.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is (Required).
• 1-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role (Required).
• Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP and other advanced functions) (Required)
• Previous industry experience, particularly in construction, transmission, or substation sectors, is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitors.
• Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.

Work Environment:
• Hybrid work model: In-office presence required from Tuesday through Thursday.
• Standard Business Hours (40 hours a week)
• Multiple interview stages, including virtual interviews.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $46.00 per hour
