We are seeking a Senior Account Manager. This role should be particularly exciting to those who are technical, excited by solving a wide-range of problems for happy customers, and those who have experience in the automotive industry.

In this job, you can expect to:
• Work with medium-to-large automotive groups (5-200 stores)
• Transition websites from their implementation to a stable post-launch state
• Manage complex support issues in collaboration with engineering and support teams, following through for timely resolution
• Proactively follow up with customers to identify additional ways to assist
• Travel 10% of the time to clients’ locations
• Train dealers on using the admin interface and new consumer-facing features
• Remind customers of the benefits of our services
• Communicate with dealers via email, phone, text, and Slack
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and hand them off to the sales team
• Serve as a subject matter expert for dealers on various website-related questions
• Monitor client websites for any issues or potential improvements
• Aim to create moments of delight for clients
We are looking for someone who has/is:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A customer-first approach to problem-solving
• 3-5 years of experience managing small to medium-sized business accounts, with a preference given for those with experience working with auto dealers
• Highly technical, familiar with creating and supporting websites and related products
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with great follow-through on initiatives big and small
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Familiarity with customer support software and tools such as Zendesk
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Remote work is acceptable, but preference is given to candidates in Oklahoma City (OKC)
• Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and not easily overwhelmed
Compensation: $90,000 to $120,000 in base salary.
• This pay scale is inclusive of various prerequisites and levels of proficiency, and will be further narrowed throughout the interview process.
• Your compensation will additionally include meaningful stock option compensation.
• Motive contributes 100% of the cost of employees' health, dental, and vision insurance premiums. For employees’ dependents, Motive covers 50% of their insurance premiums.
• We also offer unlimited time off.
Work Location:
Remote-friendly with a preference of in-person in Oklahoma City. If you are in the Oklahoma City area, it’s worth noting that 4 days are required in-person per week. While Motive is headquartered in Oklahoma City, our team is fully distributed across the US. We are currently accepting applications from all US states.
