AI Intern - User-Centric LLM Interface Development (unpaid)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Science teams to construct a user-centric interface leveraging Language Model (LLM) technologies.

Develop and deploy robust, reusable data and machine learning (ML) pipelines using open-source technologies like Python, Spark, and R. Focus on driving validation and ensuring transparency in the performance of these ML models.

Identify and assess existing LLM tools, customizing and tailoring them as needed to meet specific project requirements.

Design and implement Rag Retrieval Augmented Generation (RRAG) techniques to enhance LLM performance.

Develop and integrate Chroma DB and Vector Database solutions for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and techniques in NLP, LLM, and ML, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Familiarity with Python, Spark, and/or R for data manipulation and machine learning tasks.

Basic understanding or coursework in machine learning principles, including model development, validation, and deployment.

Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with Rag Retrieval Augmented Generation (RRAG), Chroma DB, and Vector

Database technologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (not Mandatory But a Plus)

Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Language Model (LLM) frameworks.

Hands-on experience with ML model validation techniques and transparency tools.

Prior exposure to tailoring existing tools or frameworks for specific use cases.

Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or GCP.
