Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and professionals, ensuring widespread acceptance of company solutions. Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and product issues while prioritizing profit, expense management, and team collaboration.

What you will do
• Profitably grow existing accounts and establish new accounts to obtain assigned sales objectives utilizing knowledge of company products, software, automation, and services under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager
• Develop a sales plan with specific and measurable sales objectives with the Regional Sales Manager that supports the overall company objectives and strategy
• Collaborate with other district sales managers to mutually drive sales and adoption of components and builders’ products within the district
• Work closely with Corporate Account Managers regarding applicable key national accounts within district to develop business development programs
• Maintain a market development database that includes the key accounts and prospects, the key builders, framers, engineers and building officials within the district
• Develop and maintain a report that tracks current and new business within the Four MiTek Pillars while monitoring growth and businesses in jeopardy
• Contact and educate engineers and other design professionals, builders, framers and building officials within the residential and commercial markets to ensure builders products are accepted and specified throughout the district
• Regularly obtain and develop knowledge of district including market pricing, code and product issues, distributors, dealers, component manufacturers, commercial accounts and others as required
• Promote the organization as a company of people, service, and product while prioritizing profitability and expense management

Qualifications
• Bachelors Related Field required or
• 2+ Years of Sales or Home Building and/or Residential Construction Industry or related experience required
• Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

Soft Skills
Ability to read and write English. Mathematical Skills: Analytical and mathematical aptitude, with understanding of business metrics. Intermediate knowledge on Home Building and/or Residential Construction products, software, automation, and service solutions.

Additional Requirements
• Valid drivers' license and proof of auto insurance required.
• 70% Travel required 2-3 weeks per month within the district. Other trips outside of the district as needed/required.

Physical Demands
This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. This role may need to access areas within the building that are undergoing renovations which may contain jobsite hazards. Occasionally this role will required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
