Meet Our Team:
The Office of the CTO manages and delivers PayPal's end-to-end Technology roadmap through an operating model and strategy that leverages standardization, process diligence, and operational excellence. The Business Operations team drives predictable, streamlined operations, efficiencies and elevate employee engagement with sustainable consistency across the organization.
Your Way to Impact:
This role significantly impacts the entire Technology team, by leading and managing the organizations business operations. This touches almost every part of the team’s daily experience and enables each member of the organization to achieve success in their roles. It also directly influences and guides the decisions of the Leadership team, while coordinating with other Technology Chief of Staffs. You will also establish and mature performance tracking, operating rhythms, and financial stewardship, fostering seamless alignment and innovation across the CTO.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Drive accountability and process improvement with the Technology Hiring Ramp, WFP Principles and Hiring practices
• Drive and manage the technology budget management process
• Help to coordinate all operating cadences for OCTO
• Coordinate with the partners external to Technology such as HR, Finance, and Talent Management
• Help to coordinate executive presentations
• Help to coordinate Technology OKR and KPI reporting
• Help to coordinate employee engagement initiatives
• Establish and maintain cross-functional partnerships throughout Technology and Business teams to drive results
What You Need to Bring:
• A successful candidate should bring at least 7+ years of experience within an operational, planning or project management role
• Candidates should be able to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information into meaningful patterns
• Experience with workforce planning and management is preferred
• A strong financial background is required (budgeting, forecasting, planning)
• Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and confident in putting robust processes in place
• Candidates should be comfortable driving cross-functional alignment amongst all leadership levels
• Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams at the same time is required
• Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and creating high-quality, Executive-level presentations
• Ability to deliver a high volu
