### Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive financial strategies that support both current and future business initiatives. Your expertise will guide the oversight of project financing, capital raising, and corporate finance functions. You will collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leadership to monitor various financial activities and produce critical financial reports for the board of directors on a regular basis.

### Key Responsibilities
• **Financial Management:** Oversee and manage financial operations with an emphasis on accuracy and operational efficiency.
• **Team Leadership:** Lead and mentor accounting personnel, providing ongoing professional development.
• **Budget Development:** Create and manage budgets that align with departmental needs and organizational objectives.
• **Capital Allocation:** Allocate funds for various projects and collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure financial feasibility.
• **Financial Planning:** Develop and implement annual financial plans and projections for the company.
• **Strategic Analysis:** Assess the financial implications of business initiatives and deliver strategic insights for improvement.
• **Performance Management:** Supervise financial strategic planning to evaluate performance and identify potential risks.
• **Routine Analysis:** Conduct regular financial analyses and prepare detailed performance reports.
• **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure adherence to relevant financial laws and regulations.
• **Trend Analysis:** Identify spending and revenue trends, providing recommendations for resolution.
• **Stakeholder Communication:** Manage communication with external financial institutions as necessary.

### Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management capacity.
• Proven track record in supervising accounting staff and providing effective leadership.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• More than 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance roles.
• Familiarity with property management software is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to professional growth and development within the organization.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal compliance requirements.

### Compliance Responsibilities
• Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
• Monitor debt levels and ensure compliance with existing debt covenants.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal reporting standards and tax obligations.
