We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs.
- Plaster and Painting
- Sheetrock repairs
- Perform all “make ready” tasks to prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs, cleaning and any other necessary tasks
- Clean out all trash from apartments before, during and after make-ready activity
·-Make all necessary repairs or replacements for the apartment to be ready for occupancy, such as stove, vent hood, garbage disposal, refrigerator, dishwasher, water heater, and any other appliances and sinks, toilets, and blinds.
- Repair all leaking faucets, water pressure lines, and drain line leaks
- Install appliances including stoves, refrigerators, and microwaves.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
-Perform other tasks as directed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Leadership skills to supervise and guide other maintenance staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
Experience:
• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
• Driver's License (Preferred)
