Associate Scala Developer
We are seeking a talented Associate Scala Developer to join our team in Cary, NC. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Scala.
• Collaborate with architects and senior developers to build efficient, high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the delivery of reliable software.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
• Work in an Agile environment, delivering features and updates in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in designing distributed applications using Java/Scala/Kotlin (Spring Boot) and REST/Open APIs.
• Proficiency with storage technologies (e.g., Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on expertise with Big Data tools like Hadoop, Kafka, and Apache Spark.
• Skilled in Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), and automated testing.
• Experience with Agile frameworks, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
