BUCKHEAD PET SITTING SERVICES INC. is a leading Pet Sitting and Dog Walking company in Atlanta. We travel to customers' homes and provide personalized care to their pets. At the same time, we keep an eye on the customers' homes by giving them a lived-in look and taking care of them with the same attention the owner would.
We are looking for reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable Pet Care Professionals who are committed to providing the best quality pet care and attentive customer service. Depending on the service, you will spend from 15 minutes to 10 hours at the customer's home with their pet(s).

We have received several inquiries asking "why do you need to live within 5 miles of these zip codes ?" : This is the area of town where we need help at this moment. Some customers require +4 visits per day while they are away. If you live 10 miles away, that will be 80 miles, and you will have to drive back and forth to service JUST that customer. The regular pet visit is 25-30 mins long, the driving could add up another 30 mins - 40 mins, depending on the time of day. Gas, vehicle expenses, and the time you spend driving are not reimbursed or compensated by the Company. We had done the math, and the job is not profitable if you do not live within 5 miles.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Must have a main source of income if you do not work full time with us. The more you work, the more you earn!
• Pet care experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
• Must be mature, dependable, responsible, detail-oriented, and have good people skills.
• Personal presentation is important (no visible tattoos are allowed).
• Excellent organizational skills (can you work independently & manage your own schedule?)
• Be in good physical health and have no pet allergies.
• Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
• Canine/Feline behavior and breed knowledge are a plus.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Own a reliable, animal-friendly vehicle and keep proof of current insurance.
• Own a cell phone and a computer for daily emails, schedules, and online profiles.
• Be comfortable with the use of online systems in your computer and mobile apps in your phone.
• Pass a criminal/background check
• Have a legal permit to work in the US. We are e-verified.

We have two types of customers:
1. Customers who leave town on a trip : These customers will need two to four visits a day, and some will need overnight care.
2. Customers who work full-time and extended hours: These customers will need one to three visits a day monthly.
Compensation :
• Pet Sitters are not employees of the company and are not eligible for benefits.
• As an independent contractor, the Pet Sitter shall be solely responsible for any tax consequences of the Consulting Fees received. The Company will issue the Pet Sitter an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 in connection with these payments.
