Description:
I’m looking for a talented and creative video editor to join my team on a part-time basis to help produce high-quality videos for my YouTube channel focused on impact-driven leadership and entrepreneurship. The position starts with a trial period, with the opportunity for a long-term collaboration if it’s a good fit.
Responsibilities:
1. Edit 2-3 videos per week, ensuring they align with the channel's professional and inspiring tone.
2. Incorporate text overlays, transitions, and other effects to enhance viewer engagement.
3. Collaborate with me to ensure the final product meets the channel’s branding and content goals.
4. Implement feedback and make revisions as needed.
Manage and organize video files, ensuring smooth workflow.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in video editing, especially for YouTube or similar platforms.
2. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
3. Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and YouTube best practices.
4. Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with a professional audience.
5. Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
6. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Budget:
$300 - $400 per month for part-time work, with the expectation of editing 2-3 videos per week (total of 8-12 videos per month).
Trial Period:
The position will begin with a 1-month trial period to assess fit, quality, and communication. Successful completion of the trial could lead to a long-term arrangement.
