Tax Specialist, Sales & Use Tax

The Sales & Use Tax Specialist will have a high-volume desk with varying daily responsibilities. This role is responsible for assisting with sales and use tax account reconciliations and accounting entries; audits; and various sales and use tax tasks and special projects. This position works closely with other BU’s, vendors, and customers and requires the specialist to be sensitive to the demands of the monthly tax preparation schedule.

Responsibilities May Include:
• Assist with Sales and Use accounting entries and GL account reconciliations as needed.
• Assist with Sales and Use tax audit data requests and research as needed.
• Assist with Sales and Use projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Legally authorized to work in job positing country
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Preferred Requirements:
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx and SAP
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to work under monthly deadlines with strong organization skills
• Ability to work independently
• Advanced written and oral communications
• Experience in the following areas is beneficial
• Account reconciliation skills
• A/P processing or issue resolution
• Purchasing or PO experience
• Inventory accounting
• Movement or deal processing
• Commercial or Wholesale Marketing business experience/exposure

Skill Development Opportunities:
