Software Developer PMOUNTJP
A leading digital streaming network is seeking a Software Developer. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our engineering team to construct and maintain our internal Content Management System (CMS), a critical component managing live events for us. This role is responsible for delivering high-performance solutions to cater to the demands of our rapidly expanding platform. The ideal candidate should have recent UI Front-End Software Engineer experience.

Pay and Benefits:
• Hourly pay: $85/hr
• Worksite:
Leading digital streaming network (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States - highly prefer candidates local to Pacific Time Zone, but open to EST candidates)
• 40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment, Possibility of extension/conversion
Responsibilities:
• Work with designers, product owners and stakeholders to define and validate visual requirements, user workflow and UI prototypes.
• Work with UI engineers, as well as maintain, evolve and modernize our existing video encoding platforms.
• Develop reusable, efficient, and accessible UI components according to design specifications.
• Working with Graph
QL or REST APIs for integration with backend services.
• Actively influence future innovations by following the latest and most efficient UI technology trends.
• Advocate culture of collaboration and teamwork between engineers.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of frontend engineering experiences.
• Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks.
• Familiar with CSS, CSS pre-processors like SASS / LESS, and Frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material-UI.
• Understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Familiar with Graph
QL/NodeJS, RESTful API and understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Performance Optimization:
• Ability to optimize components for maximum performance across web-capable devices and browsers.
• Accessibility and Testing:
• Awareness about accessible front-end design and user testing, and knowledge of testing libraries (like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library).
• Communication
Skills:
• Ability to work in a team, understand specifications, and clearly communicate problems.
• Familiarity with technical writing and design documentation.
• Familiarity with container technology and management such as Docker and Kubernetes.
